Dentures are natural-looking, removable replacements for missing teeth. At Scotia Square Dentistry in Edmonton, we offer two types of dentures: full and partial.
Dentures are not the right choice for everyone. If you want to find out if dentures are the right choice for you, please schedule an appointment with our dental team. We'd be happy to answer any questions you might have, and can determine the best course of treatment for your ongoing oral health.
Full dentures replace a full upper or lower jaw of missing teeth. Conventional full dentures are placed after the teeth have been extracted and the gum tissue has healed, which can take several months. Immediate full dentures are placed immediately after the teeth have been removed and may require frequent adjustments during the first couple of months of use.
Partial dentures are attached to a metal frame that is connected to your natural teeth. They are used to fill in spaces where natural teeth have been removed. Partial dentures are considered a removable alternative to bridges.
We are always welcoming new patients, with a special welcome to our new patients from R Dental! We're open late and on Saturdays so get in touch today.
