What is General Dentistry?

The practice of general dentistry includes an array of services and procedures, all with a common goal: to help you to preserve your natural teeth and ensure your oral health throughout life.

From toddlers to seniors, every stage of life carries with it particular oral health concerns, and your dentist is trained to address every one of them.

General Dentists

As your primary dental care provider, your general dentist will diagnose and treat any dental health issues, and manage your overall oral health.

General dentists perform routine services that focus on preventative maintenance, like cleanings and exams. These services help prevent decay or disease of the teeth, mouth, gums and tongue.

If preventative measures aren’t enough, general dentists will also incorporate restorative dental care, like dental crowns and root canals.
